anomie opens in Bristol, then hits Edinburgh Festival!
Precarious Physical Theatre and Multimedia are back with a powerfully engaging new show that is tipped to surpass the success of previous smash hits ‘The Factory’ and ‘Druthers’. Bristol locals can see the exclusive previews before the show goes to Edinburgh at the Tobacco Factory on 30th and 31st July.

Intense, provocative, delicate and comic, anomie is a hypnotic and surreal journey that traces the fractured pathways and phantom connections between six anomie plagued characters, all inhabiting the same apartment building, yet unaware of each others trials, tribulations and deviant behaviour.

Exploring how the erosion of traditional moral standards and personal values can result in social instability, Precarious combine breakneck physicality, stunning imagery and cutting-edge technology, to present a portrait of modernity that will disturb and delight audiences.

Precarious will be at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Zoo Southside from 7th - 31st August at 8.30pm. Go to the fringe website or call 0131 226 0000 to book.

****(*) A brave, new theatre company, showing the way forward (British Theatre Guide, 2008)

**** One of the most exciting companies to emerge in recent years. (Three Weeks, 2008)

‘Theatre for the 21st-century – bold, experimental, brimming with ideas and an assault on the senses. Challenging, risk-taking, disturbing, loud, confrontational, pushing boundaries and bodies and creating work on an epic, industrial scale (The Stage, 2008)

***** Physical theatre exactly as it should be, bold, brutal and as packed full of jaw dropping spectacle. (Hairline, 2008)
